The family of HRH Oba J I Ipinyemi, the Olu Ere of Ere, Ife Olukotun announces Burial Programme For the late Monarch
The family of HRH, Oba JI Ipinyemi, the Olu Ere of Ere, in Ife Olukotun of Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, has announced a programme of events marking the celebration of life of the monarch.
In a statement signed by HRH, Isiaq Ajibola, the Akogun of Ife Olukotun, the event will be held on November 28 and 29, 2025 at Ife Olukotun, Yagba East of Kogi State.
A commemoration service will be held at Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Kwara, Cathedral of Blessing, 76 Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Ilorin, by 10am .
The statement also announced the setting up of committees to ensure a hitch free celebration of the life of the late monarch.
Akogun Ajibola prayed for the repose of the soul of the monarch who joined his ancestors on August 14, 2025, after a brief illness.
