ONDO GUBER: Akure South Ward 4 strategizes for Aiyedatiwa victory.

The campaign team for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, led by Alhaja F. I. Gidado in Akure South Ward 4, has held a pivotal stakeholder meeting yesterday to strengthen and solidify strategies ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial election.

The meeting, which included a significant fundraising initiative spearheaded by Hon. Oyeyinka Akosile, also focused on preparations for a mock election at Unit 41.

Key elements of the gathering involved planning, sensitisation, and mobilisation efforts geared towards securing a favourable outcome for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

During the session, Hon. Gbenga Olaniyi, Commissioner representing Akure South, delivered an impassioned address.

“This government has demonstrated generosity by providing this ward with 12 appointments, in addition to five assistant roles and the head of the state’s task force,” Olaniyi stated.

“The objective now is to ensure a block vote for the governor in the upcoming election, a gesture of appreciation for the benefits received.”

Hon. Olaniyi directed leaders and stakeholders to intensify mobilisation efforts at the unit level, announcing a forthcoming unit-wide tour within the ward.

Also in attendance were Dr. Fasoranti Taye, Chairman of the Ondo State Health Management Authority; Hon. Adebayo Ayodele, Vice Chairman of Akure South Local Government; and the governor’s recently appointed special assistants from the ward.
