Ado Heritage Celebrates Ekiti State Governor’s Transformative Leadership on His 57th Birthday

Ado Heritage celebrates Gov. Oyebanji

As the Governor of Ekiti State turns 57 today, December 21, 2024, citizens, stakeholders, and organizations have united to celebrate a leader whose vision and dedication have propelled the state toward unprecedented progress. In a tribute authorized by the President of Ado Heritage, Bashorun Tope Alabi, the Secretary, Akeem Bello, commended the governor for his remarkable achievements across multiple sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, security, workers’ welfare, and care for pensioners.

One of the most groundbreaking milestones under his administration is the completion of the Ekiti State Airport initiated by His predecessor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi. This monumental project has placed Ekiti State on the global economic map, opening the doors for international trade, boosting agricultural exports, and creating numerous job opportunities. The airport, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, will attract investors and increase the state’s revenue streams, positioning Ekiti as a center of innovation and commerce in Nigeria.

Among his other recent achievements, the commencement of the minimum wage payment to workers was specifically lauded as a testament to his commitment to improving the lives of civil servants. This bold initiative has not only uplifted the morale of workers but also strengthened the economic foundation of families across the state.

The statement further commended the governor’s groundbreaking efforts in agriculture, where his promotion of mechanized farming, establishment of agro-processing hubs, and support for small-scale farmers have turned Ekiti State into an agricultural powerhouse.

His prioritization of road infrastructure was highlighted, with numerous new highways and rehabilitated rural roads enhancing connectivity and economic activities statewide.

On security, the statement applauded his strategic investments in technology and partnerships that have established Ekiti as one of the safest states in the region.

The governor’s exemplary dedication to workers’ welfare was again praised, particularly for the timely payment of salaries, promotions, and now the historic implementation of the minimum wage. For pensioners, his administration’s clearing of arrears and introduction of welfare schemes were described as acts of empathy and respect.

Additional achievements in education, healthcare, and youth empowerment were also acknowledged, reflecting his all-encompassing approach to governance.

Describing him as “a blessing to Ekiti State and its citizens,” the message celebrated the governor’s ability to inspire hope and deliver meaningful change.

The statement concluded with fervent prayers for the governor, asking for divine guidance, robust health, wisdom, and many more years to lead and impact lives positively.

Ekiti State stands united in gratitude as it celebrates a governor whose leadership has redefined progress. Happy 57th birthday, Your Excellency!
