Two Die On Their Way To Bayelsa Dep Gov’s Burial.

Two persons who are yet to be identified has died in an auto crash on their way to the burial of the late Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator, Lawrence Ewrudjakpo.

The tragedy struck on Friday as an 18 seater bus carrying passengers to the burial crash along the Toru-Orua axis of the Sagbama / Ekeremor Road.

Prof Seiyefa Brisibe, Bayelsa Commissioner for Health, who confirmed the crash dismissed rumours that more than two of the victims died on the spot.

He said “ Our State Ambulance Services promptly responded and evacuated the victims to hospitals.

Seven were taken to Sagbama General Hospital, while 10 were taken to the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital at Okolobiri.
