Wife of Osun State Governor, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke has again pledged her commitment to the education of every child in Osun State, saying no child deserves to be left uneducated.

She said every Nigerian child deserves a better ,quality education, hence no child should be left out uneducated .

The Governor’s wife stated this while speaking as the “Mother of the Day’ at this year’s United Nations International Day of Education held at Ilesa Grammar School, Ilesa.

She described the theme of the programme “Learning For Lasting Peace” as apt because the entire world is experiencing a situation where a lot of the friction among humans and nations is as a result of inadequate education on certain issues.

While commending the organisers of the programme, the Osun Governor’s wife reminded the gathering that the task of ensuring that every child in Osun State is educated should not be left in the hands of government alone.

In her own contribution, wife of the Chief of Staff, Dr. (Mrs) Balikis Akinleye said every child in the State deserves access to quality basic education, hence concerted efforts must be made to achieve it.

She added that education if well attended to by every society can truly be used as a tool for lasting peace and prosperity.

Also speaking, the Owaloko of Iloko-ijesa, Oba Akeem Ogungbangbe commended the Governor’s wife for her exemplary commitment to girl child education and youth development, while pledging his support to the present administration.
