The 8-man Investigation Committee set up by the Kebbi State government to unravel the causes of the students riot at College of Health Sciences, Jega will begin sitting today.

A member of the committee and commissioner of Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed BK, disclosed this in a statement.

“The committee will invite and interface with all stakeholders including students, teachers , school management, security personnel and every other person connected with the matter,” he said.

He assured that the committee will go the extra mile to unravel the causes of the riot, uncover the circumstances leading to it, investigate roles played each stakeholder, apportion blame where it is established and recommend measures to be taken to avert future occurrence.

According to the commissioner, the committee will nor spare anyone involved no matter how remotely connected and no matter how highly placed.
