Two suspected “one chance” robbers reportedly met their end on Saturday afternoon, in the Lugbe area of Abuja, after an enraged mob took justice into their own hands.

The suspects were reportedly caught in Aso Lugbe, near Dunamis Glory Dome, after a victim raised an alarm.

It was gathered that the victim was thrown out of a moving vehicle after being robbed of belongings.

Viral footage circulating online shows one of the suspects being brutally beaten with planks by a group of young men, despite pleas for mercy from some passersby.

In a fit of rage, the mob later set the vehicle allegedly used by the robbers on fire.

No official statement has been issued by the FCT Police Command on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
