Miyetti Allah pledges total loyalty to Aiyedatiwa, support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum, members of Miyetti Allah Kauta Hoore from Owo and Akoko South West Local Government Areas of Ondo State have pledged their total loyalty to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and vowed to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The delegation, comprising more than 40 members, made the commitment on Tuesday during a solidarity visit to Alhaji Abdulkadri Adinoyi, the Non-Indigene Renewed Hope Ambassador and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Rural Community Engagement for Non-Indigenes.

The visit was aimed at expressing confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration and assuring him of the support of the non-indigenous community in the state as political activities towards the 2027 elections intensify.

The delegates, some of whom came with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), also pledged to mobilise other members of the association to collect their unclaimed PVCs from the Independent National Electoral Commission offices in their respective local government areas.

They further declared their readiness to vote en masse for President Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, saying their support was in line with the position of Governor Aiyedatiwa as conveyed through Adinoyi.

Speaking during the visit, Adinoyi said the delegation had come to demonstrate its confidence in him and convey its loyalty to the governor, stressing that the non-indigenous community remained committed to supporting the government in power.

He said, “These two local government representatives are here on solidarity visit and to put confidence in my mind and to translate it to Mr Governor that his wish will be their command, irrespective of anybody.

“Like I used to tell everybody, non-indigenous is pro-government of the day. We are for Governor Aiyedatiwa and Governor Aiyedatiwa is for us.”

Adinoyi also commended the governor for appointing three non-indigenes as Senior Special Assistants, describing the appointments as a demonstration of inclusiveness and recognition of the contributions of non-indigenous residents to Ondo State.

He said the appointments had further strengthened the bond between the administration and the non-indigenous community, assuring the governor of their continued loyalty and support.

“Must we say, for giving us three non-indigenous SSA, is that not enough appreciation?” he asked, while assuring the governor that the community remained firmly behind his administration.

He added, “Mr Governor, Fulanise, you should sleep with your two eyes closed,” stressing that the governor could rely on the loyalty and support of the non-indigenous community.

Responding to the delegation’s demands, Adinoyi appreciated the members for their solidarity, loyalty and confidence, promising to work towards addressing their concerns and reciprocating the love and support they had demonstrated.
