RUGIPO Alumni Abuja Chairman, Alhaji Omoluabi hails Adegbite’s re-election as NUJ Ondo Chairman

The Chairman of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO) Alumni Association, Abuja Chapter, Alhaji Otunba Dr Abubakar Adeshina Omoluwabi, has congratulated Prince ‘Leke Adegbite on his re-election as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council.

In a goodwill message made available to the press, Alhaji Omoluwabi described Adegbite’s re-election as a testament to his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the welfare of journalists in the Sunshine State.

“I heartily rejoice with Prince ‘Leke Adegbite on his well-deserved re-election as Chairman of the NUJ, Ondo State Council.

“It is my fervent prayer that Almighty Allah will continue to guide you as you steer the wheel of the pen profession in the state,” he said.

He further expressed confidence in Adegbite’s capacity to further strengthen the union and uphold the ethics of journalism, noting that his first term was marked by progressive strides and visible transformation in the union’s affairs.

Alhaji Omoluwabi, who is also a notable media stakeholder and community leader, urged the re-elected NUJ chairman to sustain his people-centred leadership and continue to be a voice for truth, justice, and professionalism in journalism.

The NUJ election, which held recently in Akure, saw Adegbite winning a second term in office amidst widespread commendation from members of the union and stakeholders in the media industry.
