Kebbi Police bolster security with 13 Armoured, patrol vehicles

In its continued efforts to strengthen internal security and enhance policing across Kebbi State, the Kebbi State Police Command has received additional armoured and patrol vehicles from the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters.

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M. Sani, formally presented 13 Armoured Motor Vehicles and operational Hilux patrol vehicles to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu.

The new operational assets are expected to improve patrol coverage, boost rapid response to security challenges and enhance the overall operational efficiency of the Command.

Receiving the vehicles, Governor Idris commended the Inspector-General of Police and the Kebbi State Police Command for their proactive approach to maintaining peace and security.

He assured of the state government’s continued collaboration with the Police and other security agencies to decisively curb criminal activities.

The Kebbi State Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to the protection of lives and property, assuring residents that the vehicles would be strategically deployed to strengthen security across the state.

Members of the public were also urged to continue supporting security agencies with timely and useful information.
