Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi returns to the palace

The reinstated Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II officially entered the palace alongside Governor Abba Yusuf, his deputy Aminu Abdussalam, and other government officials in the early hours of Saturday 25th May

His reoccupation of the palace marks a significant development after he received letter of official reinstatement as the Emir of Kano.

Supporters of Emir Sanusi II’s sees his return to the palace as a triumph for truth and justice.

In view of an order by the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu that deposed Emir Bayero should return to the palace. The Governor of the state Abba Yusuf , his Deputy and other top government officials accompanied Emir Sanusi to the Palace to demonstrates the state government’s support and recognition of the reinstated Emir.
