HRM Oba Dr. Rufus Adejugbe. Ewi Of Ado-Ekiti

The Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi 111 has described the Eid-el- Kabir as a ceremony of sacrifice and total obedience to Allah as exemplified by the exceptional action of Prophet Ibrahim Mohammed.

While Felicitating with Muslims all over, on this year Eid-el- Kabir, the Royal Father said this festival is an opportunity for Muslims to show mercy and compassion to fellow humans.

The traditional ruler advised that the values inherent in Prophet Mohammed’s life must be imbibed, such as tolerance, patience, perseverance, selflessness, love, and compassion.

He called for kindness among the faithful by helping and supporting the weak and vulnerable in the society.

The Monarch who noted that the country is going through some challenges especially with struggling economy and Security challenges, acknowledged that they are surmountable with prayers.

Oba Adejugbe prayed that this Eid-el- Kabir celebration will be a source of blessing, peace, prosperity and safety for all Nigerian and Ekiti people in particular, stressing that peaceful co-existence and stability will prevail in the country.
