Eid-el-Kabir: Sokoto Governor Orders payment of June salary
In an effort to ensure that workers in Sokoto state celebrate this year’s Eid-El Kabir comfortably, the Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has approved the payment of June salary beginning from tomorrow Monday 10/ June 2024.
Much as many civil servants welcome the idea, many sees it as not too good saying that the government should instead, give palliative to it’s worker.
“What are we going to eat in July?” said Memuna a civil servants from ministry of Information.
Meanwhile, the city of sokoto has put on the look of celebration as many young boys can be seen taking Rams to field for feeding while all the ram markets are filled with different types and sizes of Ram and cows.
This year’s celebration is expected to hold on 16th of June, 2024.
