Chief Opemipo Adeyemi Lacrown Ambassador of Urban Rural Transformation and Community development

Ebony Herald International Magazine has honoured Chief Opemipo Adeyemi Lacrown, a renowned philanthropist and native of Akoko, Ondo State, for his exceptional contributions to rural-urban transformation and community development.

Chief Lacrown was honoured with the award of “Ambassador of Rural-Urban Transformation and Community Development”, during the magazine’s 15th anniversary celebration held in Abuja.

The honour is in recognition of his numerous philanthropic efforts, particularly in enhancing the welfare of the less privileged in his community.

The US-based benefactor has made a significant impact on education and sports development in Ondo State.

Last year, he donated educational materials worth millions of Naira to school children in Ikaramu, his hometown, ensuring they have the necessary resources to pursue their studies.

His initiatives have not only provided educational support but have also contributed to transforming the agrarian communities of Ikaramu and neighbouring villages through various developmental projects and interventions.

Chief Lacrown’s commitment to the socio-economic progress of rural areas has cemented his reputation as a pivotal figure in the state’s development.

His dedication to community service continues to inspire many, both within and outside Nigeria.
