FOUNDATION: The Evidence Of Renewed Hope

By Oloroogun Sola Ajisafe.

For three years, one man has borne the blame for a crisis 60 years in the making. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is accused of ruining what was already in ruins.

Let us be honest. The loudest voices today are those who benefited most from the rot. Children of the system that bled Nigeria dry through subsidy fraud, FX round-tripping, and a civil service that colluded with politicians, business men, religious organisations to eat what was meant for schools, hospitals, and roads.

For six decades, no sector was spared. In education, headmasters and Vice-Chancellors who served only their families. In our banks, courts, customs, and immigration, entire clans fed fat while the nation went on oxygen. Like a snake on tiled floor, they left no trace of impact only appetite. The remnants of these profiteers and beneficiaries are the greatest complainers on social media today. Why? Because their feeding bottles have been taken away and the pipes by which they suck Nigeria had been taking away. A distruoter has disrupted their plans. It’s time for them to hide under popular views to express their anger. _Shiooooor Kelebe Pueee! Isoooo!!! _

Now that the feeding has stopped, they cry loudest about “the good old days” they destroyed.

President Tinubu chose to end it. Painful? Yes. Necessary? Absolutely. Because you cannot plant in soil where the seeds have been eaten and expect harvest.

This is the new deal and it’s reform with results. In the Ministry of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, BTO, brought innovation by clearing 200,000 passport backlogs, automating processes, securing borders, and recruiting 139,000 Forest Guards. He is taking Renewed Hope to Kajola, Melege, Etin-Oyinmo, Oko Supare, and the 780 farming camps of Idanre. To the abandoned, not the predators.

Nigeria will no longer run on sentiment. It will be rebuilt by evidence.
And the evidence is: From GONE to DONE
