Ado Heritage congratulates Gov Oyebanji’s 2-year milestone
Ado Heritage, a prominent socio-cultural group, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State as he marks his second year in office.
The President of Ado Heritage, Bashorun Tope Alabi, commended the governor for his transformative leadership, which has brought significant progress to the socio-economic development of the state, particularly in the capital, Ado-Ekiti.
In a statement released by the Secretary of Ado Heritage, Akeem Bello, Bashorun Alabi praised Governor Oyebanji for his inclusive governance, noting the appointment of several distinguished Ado-Ekiti indigenes into key roles in his administration.
“This shows the governor’s recognition of the expertise and commitment of Ado-Ekiti people towards the growth of the state,” Alabi said.
Bashorun Alabi emphasised that Ekiti State is fortunate to have Governor Oyebanji at the helm during such a crucial period.
He applauded the governor’s achievements in key sectors such as education, agriculture, workers’ welfare, and security, while also highlighting the peaceful coexistence fostered among residents.
Special mention was made of the governor’s dedication to the welfare of senior citizens, particularly pensioners, whose contributions to the state are being honoured through prompt payment of pensions and other benefits.
“Governor Oyebanji’s focus on the well-being of retirees demonstrates his compassion and commitment to those who have served Ekiti State over the years,” Bashorun Alabi noted.
He added that these efforts are reflective of the governor’s broader vision for inclusive governance and sustainable development.
Alabi called on the people of Ekiti to continue their support for Governor Oyebanji, whom he described as a leader of integrity and action.
