2027: BTO coalition mobilises for Tinubu, holds grand rally in Ikare Friday

By Lai Gidado

The BTO Coalition Platform for PBAT 2027 is set to hold a grand rally in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, tomorrow, Friday, August 28, 2026, as part of its grassroots mobilisation campaign in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for the 2027 presidential election.

The rally, scheduled to commence at 11:00 a.m., is expected to attract political stakeholders, supporters, community leaders and residents from across the 18 local government areas of the state.

Organised under the leadership of the National President of the BTO Coalition Platform for PBAT 2027, Alhaji Otunba Abubakar Adeshina Omoluwabi, the event is designed to deepen grassroots engagement, promote voter education and strengthen support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the organisers, the Ikare rally will provide a major platform for grassroots mobilisation, political enlightenment and direct engagement with supporters across Ondo State.

The event is being sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, according to publicity materials released by the organisers.

The organisers have urged members of the public, supporters, community leaders and political stakeholders to turn out in large numbers for the rally and participate in the various mobilisation, voter education and enlightenment activities.

The Ikare-Akoko event is expected to further consolidate the coalition’s grassroots mobilisation efforts and galvanise support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The organisers called on supporters across Ondo State to unite for the rally and make the event a strong demonstration of grassroots support for the President.
