Akeredolu: Chairman, RUGIPO Alumni Abuja Chapter, Otunba Abubakar Adeshina pays glowing tribute
The Chairman of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, RUGIPO Alumni Association Abuja chapter, Otunba Abubakar Adesina, has paid a glowing tribute on the late Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON over his demise.
The Ondo state Government had announced the passage of the Governor on Wednesday morning.
In a press statement on Wednesday, Otunba Abubakar Adesina described Akeredolu’s death who was the Patron of the Association and Visitor of the Polytechnic as a collosal loss to his entire family, the state and nation at large.
According to the statement; “Today, we bid goodbye to an outstanding Statesman who epitomizes courage and admired for his unwavering patriotism and selflessness.
“As a formidable leader, your memory will continue to serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come.
“Your ethos and exemplary leadership prowess are not only indigenous and intuitive, they are veritable sources of instruction and inspiration to many serving and even would-be administrators and leaders of men.
“You remained a mentor blessed with an innate ability to dream big, challenge assumptions, inspire teams and knows how to translate big ideas into concrete action and results.
“You came, saw and conquered, leaving an indelible mark of hardwork which has made the state a cynosure of all eyes among other states.
“I am proud to be associated with you as you have crystallized as a reference point in transformational leadership in our polity.
While your transition brings deep sorrow, I find comfort in the indelible legacies you left behind as a noble gentleman and a committed icon of development.
I commend your innumerable and patently remarkable accomplishments and pray to God to grant you eternal peace and grant those you left behind the strength to cope with your painful demise
